Testing Schedules

Grades 7-12
Standardized testing for Grades 7-12 are given in mid October. Students take the Iowa Tests of Educational Development. Students need to have two #2 pencils and an eraser. No calculators will be used.

PSAT Test—All 8th, 9th, 10th, & 11th Graders
on October 14, 2015 
This testing will help students practice for SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test). The results provide information for students about their developed abilities. The PSAT (Preliminary SAT is the first step to entering scholarship competitions conducted by the National Merit Scholarship Corporation. Students will be given a practice test and an informational bulletin during school. These tests are funded by Concordia Schools and are given during the regular school day and no registration is required.


SAT I and SAT II—A test of verbal and mathematical abilities. Required or recommended by college as part of the admission process.

ACT—A group of tests that measure educational development in English, Mathematics, Reading, and Science Reasoning. Required or recommended by colleges as part of the admission process.

Advanced Placement Exams (AP Tests)

Students may take any of the twenty-six AP Exams offered. Concordia course offerings for the 2015-16 school year are AP English Literature and Composition, AP World History, AP Biology and AP US History. Students need to notify the office of their choices, pay the fee for each exam, and take the test during the scheduled time frame. See Ms. Petit or Mr. Benne for additional information.
